Adchem Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative pressure-sensitive adhesive tape systems, announces that it's Technical Director, Kiran Malhotra, was selected to represent the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) at the October 12, 2005 meeting of the Japanese Adhesive Tape Manufacturers Association (JATMA).
Malhotra's presentation discussed the significant role of the PSTC and its relationship with the European Association for the Self Adhesive Tape Industry (AFERA) and JATMA. PSTC and JATMA are working through AFERA and the European standardization body CEN to develop globally harmonized ISO standards for test methods.
Similar to PSTC, JATMA promotes harmonized testing methodologies, while proactively interacting with regulatory agencies and sharing information through training and publications.
