Adchem was founded in 1965 by the Pufahl's and is headquartered on its 54 acre campus in Riverhead, New York.  Acquired by Berry Global in 2017, the engineering, R&D and manufacturing location employs engineers, scientists, executives and highly trained and qualified production, research and development professionals.

During the past 50 years Adchem has built a tradition of excellence providing customers with high performance adhesive tape systems for automotive, construction, electronics, graphic arts, medical and general industrial tape applications. They continue to work closely with customers and vendors to help identify and engineer adhesive tape systems to meet unique and demanding requirements.

Adchem is ISO 9001 certified, assuring consistent quality and rigorous attention to maintaining high standards of performance. The company’s test laboratories meets the ISO 17025 requirements of the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) Adchem is also an active leading member of the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) and is certified by PSTC under the organzation’s Responsible Tape Manufacturer certification program.
