Adchem Corporation is celebrating its 40th anniversary as a leading manufacturer of innovative, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape systems. The family owned and operated company was founded in 1965 by Joseph A. Pufahl and is headquartered in Riverhead, New York.
During the past 40 years Adchem has built a tradition of excellence in providing its customers with innovative adhesive tape systems for a variety of industries, including automotive, construction, electronics, foam bonding, graphic arts, medical and general industrial tape applications. They continue to work closely with customers and vendors to help identify and develop adhesive tape systems to meet unique and demanding performance requirements.
Adchem is ISO 9001 certified, assuring consistent quality and rigorous attention to maintaining high standards of performance. The company's test laboratories meets the demands of the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for second and third tier testing services. Adchem is also a member of the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) and complies with industry test methods.
Originally based in Westbury, New York, the company moved to it's 200,000 square foot facility in Riverhead in 1999 and currently has 130 employees.
