Adchem Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high performance film and foam bonding adhesive tapes, introduces its 254M and 256M double-coated polyester film tape. Part of the 250M family, 254M and 256M are a high-tack, moderate dead load acrylic adhesive film coated on both sides of a high quality polyester film.
254M offers excellent resistance to ultra-violet light and withstands higher temperatures than rubber based adhesive systems. Adhering to an array of substrates including urethane foam, cloth, vinyl, cork, paper and rigid and flexible plastic, 254M is well suited for splicing paper film and foil, corrugated splicing tape, mounting displays, nameplates and wall decorations.
Similar to 254M, 256M offers excellent resistance to plasticizers and ultra-violet light, in addition to superior performance during temperature extremes. 256M adheres to vinyl, paper, film, foil and foam, but offers thicker, heavier adhesion on both sides of the carrier than 245M, making it ideal for more demanding bonding, splicing, nameplate and general industrial tape applications.
254M and 256M are a 0.5 mil polyester film, double coated on a 60lb. densified-kraft, 74lb polycoated lay-flat or 12 point board release liner. Other liners are available on special order.
