We serve in many capacities in standards bodies and alongside the most prestigious tapes suppliers in the world in the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC.org). Our product and facilities certifications evidence our commitment to excellence. Our commitment to best practices is evidenced by certification to the Responsible Tape Manufacturer program of the PSTC.

Industry Associations

Berry is a leader in industry trade and regulatory associations and backs its work certifying its operations under ISO 9001-2008 and many of its laboratory procedures under ISO 17025 by A2LA. Our belief is that consistent reliable product is a result of rigorous attention to detail and process discipline.


Berry Global's Riverhead facility maintains certification by TUV Management Service to ISO 9001 Series quality standards. It confirms that manufacturing facility at Riverhead maintains a consistent and independently verified method of managing its quality processes. With the internal development of a common set of manufacturing and related procedures, we ensure that our quality management system continues to meet these standards.



Berry is a member of PSTC. Founded in 1953, the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) was formed by pressure sensitive tape manufacturers who identified the need for an organization that would focus on helping the industry manufacture products that are both high in quality and performance. The PTSC also has a Technical Committee, which focuses on disseminating the latest technical information to the industry.






Berry's Riverhead laboratory is A2LA accredited. A2LA recognizes the lab as being technically competent in the use of the test methods listed in the Scope of Accreditation. This recognition does not imply approval by A2LA of the products tested.





The Gasket Fabricators Association (GFA) is a trade association of fabricators whose products include Metallic and Non-Metallic sealing devices and allied products. One of the objectives of the GFA is to promote the development of quality standards through research and testing that will best serve the users of the Industry's products.



Berry is not only a member of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) but also a manufacturer of AAMA verified components. AAMA's history spans over six decades. During the past sixty years, the AAMA has become recognized around the world for the development of standards that provide third-party validation of product performance and quality. Their continuing objective is to develop the highest level of technical expertise and to support member companies with business services, market research and marketing programs.



TAPPI is the leading association for the worldwide pulp, paper, packaging, and converting industries and publisher of Paper360º and TAPPI JOURNAL. Through information exchange, trusted content, and networking opportunities, TAPPI helps members elevate their performance by providing solutions that lead to better, faster, and more cost-effective ways of doing business.


  The Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL), founded in 1970, is a global nonprofit trade association representing converters of metallized, laminated and coated flexible substrates and their suppliers. AIMCAL serves as the global forum for the flexible metallizing, coating and laminating industry by providing resources, services and information.
